Join the pack at Coffi Lab as we continue to expand our group of coffee stores. Our Coffi Lab Kitchen provides our sites across Wales and England with a range of beautiful handmade savouries and bakes. As such, we’re on the lookout for delivery drivers to assist in the distribution of our goods across our Labs.

We are currently looking for a part time / relief driver for minimum 6-12 hours per week. Our standard driving shift is 10 hours starting from 3pm, however the role of the relief driver will be to split this shift on busy days. They may also be required to run the full route when holiday cover is needed. Overnight or early mornings can also be considered.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, trustworthy, and reliable. You will be operating on a lone basis, so a proactive, problem-solving attitude is essential.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure safe and efficient deliveries of our chilled and ambient products.

• Proactively review route plan for the most efficient delivery of goods and be aware of potential traffic or situations that may impact delivery routes.

• Load vehicle with goods due out for delivery.

• Ensure all deliveries are delivered to the correct store/address, put away, and stored correctly.

• Effectively communicate and report any issues.

• Ensure all delivery paperwork is supplied with goods

• Collect goods from locations to return to other Coffi Lab sites en route.

• Responsible for keeping our van clean and tidy, reporting any mechanical issues.

SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS:

• An ability to work on your own initiative to problem solve and structure the most effective delivery and collection route to complete daily schedules.

• As a representative of Coffi Lab you’ll need to maintain a high level of politeness and courtesy towards customers and team members.

• You’ll need to work within our health and safety policies to always undertake safe working practices.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Multi-stop delivery driving experience preferable.

WORK ESSENTIALS:

Full UK Drivers License (no in date points or convictions).

Evening/Overnight Shifts (10-hour shifts).

Start/finish times negotiable to suit candidate.

Role is part time, with a guaranteed 1/2 shifts a week.
